From 5 to 7 May 2022, our company will take part in Yed (an acronym for Yellow Expo Days), the biennial trade fair for wood, aluminium, iron, steel and PVC window and door professionals… The event will give us the opportunity to get on a national stage representing the entire supply chain for hardware, fittings, windows and doors, shading, protection and security systems, building envelope and sun protection solutions.

“Window and door manufacturers, installers, distributors, builders, architects, designers,” write the organizers of the Yed, “can get in touch with market players by embracing the entire production chain in a single context.

The Yellow Expo Days will kick off on Thursday 5 May and, for three days, will tell the story of what is new in the world of windows and doors. The first new feature of this edition is the change of location: for the first time, the event will be held in Vicenza, in pavilion 1 of the prestigious Berici capital’s exhibition centre, this year adding a day to the traditional two days.

Sustainability and innovative solutions always at the forefront

Sustainability will be at the centre of the three-day event in terms of both transport and exhibition stands. Another novelty, linked to the confirmed YED AWARD, a competition born in 2019 that rewards the commitment of exhibiting companies and the innovation of the products on offer, will be the introduction of a new category that will recognize the best combination of corporate philosophy, trade fair presentations and sustainability, an increasingly important topic in all production and distribution sectors. Pinto is nominating for this competition ‘Arialuce’, the first roller shutter that gives space to air and light.

“An important showcase,” say the Pinto sales management, “to emphasise the concept of sustainability, one of the fundamental values for our company, and to promote our sun protection and shading system solutions.

 

At Yed, there will also be training opportunities with a rich schedule of appointments. Visitors will be able to participate in short 30-minute focuses on many topics.
